Our next School Site Council meeting will be on Thursday, Jun 9, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. We will be able to meet in person or on Zoom (8589352650) and all are welcome to attend. Immediately after the SSC Meeting, our School Governance Team will meet.
SDUSD MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS LEAGUES - SOCCER
Great Inaugural Season for our Taft Soccer Team. The team had an overall record of 5-4 and was 1-1 in the Playoffs.

DESIGN THINKING ACADEMY Jul 11, 2022 - Jul 21, 2022
The San Diego County Education Office and the Design Thinking Academy will be offering an opportunity for students to design a solution to a problem either by yourself or with a team that will make your own school or community better. You will be led through the design thinking cycle of ideation, defining, designing and developing your own community project. You will have access to various equipment and support to personalize the experience.

NOTE: APPEALS LETTERS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8TH!!
Eligibility criteria for the promotion ceremony, as well as all other 8th grade activities, are as follows but NOT limited to:
- A minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 on the P4 progress report
- No more than one F on the the P4 progress report
- No more than one U on the P4 progress report
- No suspensions after the P3 progress report
This week we will be contacting students and families for eligibility.

2022 PrimeTime Summer Program
Program Dates: Tuesday, June 21 - Tuesday, August 2 (30 days/closed July 5)
Program Hours: Hours vary based on the school's Summer Experience schedule.
Student Eligibility: SDUSD students attending the Summer Experience in the morning will be eligible to apply to participate in PrimeTime in the afternoon at the same school site including students in Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) through eighth grade during the 2021-22 school year.
