Mrs. Sanchez

Head Counselor I

[email protected]

I am a San Diego native, and a first generation college student. I attended the University of California, Riverside and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.  Then, I attended the University of San Diego and earned a Master's in Counseling. I have worked in the School Counseling field for the past 12 years, with experience in grades K-12. I am the mother of two beautiful girls and an avid sports fan. I love to be outdoors (especially pool or beach side). I also have  a small dog named, Penny.

My role as a school counselor has truly been rewarding and I'm excited to be working with the Taft students, staff, the administration team, and parents/guardians who are vested in educational success!

I am passionate about students reaching their full academic, social, and emotional potential and I genuinely look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families at Taft!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns
